The first sketch of the work, I did at the Jerusalem farm, on a weekend I spent with my family, enjoying the beauty of the Roraima countryside. I woke up early, got the sketchbook that always goes with me. I reflected a little on the scene I was going to draw, as if that act put me in tune with the feelings of the people involved. Scenes of brotherhood, fraternity, but also scenes of violence such as those experienced in Pacaraima (August 2018).
I sat at a table on the porch. It didn't take long and the scenes started to appear in my mind. Because of that, the first sketches came out naturally in quick pencil strokes. There, in mid-March 2019, the project "Venezuela on fleeing " started
